Pre-marital and Pre-commitment Therapy

More than ever it is common for couples to seek premarital counseling. Think about it, we hire professionals to help us lose weight, decorate our homes, and ski down a mountain! Hiring a relationship expert to help with one of the biggest decisions of our lives just makes sense!

One of the great parts of working with one of our trained couples therapists is that we get to meet you right now -- when things are kind of awesome. We will get to know you and your soon-to-be spouse and give you some guidance on optimizing your communication and connection...and then, down the road, if (when!) things get bumpy, you can just pop back in for a tune big deal.

Meeting With a Couples Therapist

What we tend to find is that if you don't have a relationship with a couples therapist before getting married, it makes it so much harder to find someone who you connect with when you desperately need the help. This can be a huge deterrent to getting the help that could make or break your relationship. And, with the divorce rates holding steady of 50% what we know is that hitting rocky times is the norm rather than the exception.

So, premarital counseling is a kind of insurance policy for your marriage.
